I love what you said in this episode about rethinking language - something I've also been thinking about a lot, especially as someone who's terrified of being annoying or bothering people when I try to "market" myself. Another writer and mentor/teacher that I really admire, Chelene Knight, was telling me how she's come to use the term "gardening" in place of "marketing," which I've found really helpful - trying to see it more as planting little seeds of connection in different places, sometimes nurturing and actively caring for some more than others and being able to adjust.
